Only the Best Coffees is a coffee discovery site for people who buy whole bean coffee online and want something better than the grocery aisle. We spotlight small and independent roasters, and every coffee we feature gets its own page with tasting notes, origin, process, roast level and a direct link to buy it from you.
What we're looking for
- Independent roasters. Small-batch and specialty-focused. We don't cover the big national brands.
- Whole bean specialty coffee. Single origins, blends and experimental lots are all welcome.
- A roast date on the bag, so we can brew it at its best.
- Coffee people can buy from you online right now.
How it works
- Tell us about your coffee using the form below. It takes about two minutes.
- We reply within about a week. If it looks like a fit, we'll send you a shipping address.
- We brew it a bunch of ways, from pour-over to espresso to French press, over a week or two.
- If it makes the cut, it goes live. Your coffee gets its own page, a spot in our flavor finder and a listing in our roaster directory. We'll send you the link.
The fine print
Submitting is free, and coverage can't be bought. Sending a bag doesn't guarantee a feature, because we only publish coffees we'd happily buy again. When a coffee page is based on a bag the roaster sent us, the page says so. We may earn a commission through affiliate links on the site, but that never decides what we feature. Questions roasters ask us
How much coffee should I send?
One retail bag of each coffee is plenty, usually 10 to 12 ounces. Whole bean, please, since we grind fresh for every brew. We'll send the shipping address once we've looked at your submission.
Does it cost anything?
Nope. There's no fee to submit and no fee to be featured. We don't sell placements, rankings or ratings.
Is a feature guaranteed?
No. We only publish coffees we'd genuinely buy again ourselves. If yours isn't a fit, we'll tell you privately, and we're happy to share honest feedback if you want it.
How long does it take?
Usually two to four weeks after the bag arrives, depending on how many coffees are in line. We'll email you the link when your coffee page is live.
Do you feature roasters outside the US?
Yes, as long as our readers can order from you online. Let us know where you ship in the form.
Do I need an affiliate program?
Not at all. It never affects whether a coffee gets featured. If you do have one, tell us so we can link to you the right way.
