Our approach

Good guidance. No pretend taste tests.

How we choose, describe and link to the coffees on this site.

We help home coffee drinkers explore specialty coffees from roasters selling directly to their customers. The collection brings together product information, roaster-reported tasting notes, and plain-language coffee education.

How we research

Our listings are research-led, not first-hand cupping reviews. We use roaster product pages for coffee-specific claims and specialist references for general explanations. Missing details are marked rather than guessed. A tasting note is a sensory comparison, not an ingredient list.

Who’s in the collection

The initial collection includes Spirit Origin Coffee, Hula Daddy Kona Coffee, Onyx Coffee Lab, Black & White Coffee Roasters, Coffee Bros., and Tayst. We include direct merchant links even when we do not have a verified affiliate destination. Placement is not a numerical quality score.

Before you buy

Availability, harvests, blend components, prices, and processing details can change. Check the roaster’s current page before buying, especially if a particular origin, process, or dietary concern matters to you. Orders, shipping, and returns are handled by the seller.

About our name

Our name expresses an editorial aim, not a claim that these coffees have outperformed every alternative in a blind test. The best coffee for you depends on your preferences and the way you brew.
