Meet Joe Coffee Company
Joe Coffee Company opened its first cafe in Greenwich Village in 2003, when Jonathan Rubinstein set out to serve great coffee with warm neighborhood hospitality. Joe has grown to more than 20 cafes across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens and roasts in small batches at its own roastery in Long Island City. It cups every coffee for quality and aims to source at least 80% of its coffee from Rainforest Alliance-certified farms.

A 1:2 dose-to-yield ratio is a common place to start. Adjust grind and taste — the roaster’s own guidance always wins.
