Meet Spirit Origin Coffee
Spirit Origin Coffee puts Honduras at the center of its story, including the work that happens after the beans leave the farm. Founded by Kathya Irias and Paul Gromek, the company launched as Spirit Animal Coffee in 2020 and adopted its current name in 2026. According to its own account, growing, processing, roasting, and shipping all happen in Honduras. The founders describe that approach as a way to keep more of coffee's value in the country that produces it. If you knew the earlier name, this is the same company with a new identity that makes its focus on Honduran coffee more explicit.
