Tiny Footprint Coffee calls itself the world’s first carbon-negative coffee. It began as a collaboration between the artisan roastery Roastery 7 and the Mindo Cloudforest Foundation, a nonprofit conservation group. For every pound sold, part of the proceeds funds reforestation in Ecuador’s Mindo cloud forest, planting more trees than the coffee’s footprint. The coffees are organic and fair trade, roasted in a vintage German Probat drum roaster.
